Confirmation Updating issue between SRM and R/3

Hi all,

We are running SRM 5.0 in Extended Classic mode, and have just over the last few weeks had an issue with confirmations posting correctly between SRM and R/3. The confirmation posts in SRM, and creates a MM document number in R/3. However, the "Posted in the Backend" message does not appear in SRM after the document is posted in R/3. This is keeping us from deleting any confirmations in SRM.

Any suggestions?

It deals with Classic Scenario, but it works also for Extended Classic Scenario.

Hi,

If the Confirmation status is "Error in Transfer" or remains in table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB, you can use the reports Z_ES_ERRLIST and Z_ES_RETRANSFER provided in note 906050 and try to retransfer the Confirmation.

are you sure you are running clean_reqreq_up regularly and correctly? check that. this program updates your status to posted in backend

and check table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB. i think you will get your confirmation (with backend document number and idoc numbers) not cleared from this table. (this is what clean req req up does.. clears this table and updates the status)
