I have CR XI , I have been looking for ODBC for XML and Oracle without luck. Can someone tell me where I can download these files? SAP support said that they do not support cr 11 anymore.

Hello,

They are on the CR CD or whereever you installed it from. Try doing a Repair install and Select custom and then select the drivers.

Or you can upgrade to XI R2 for free, use your XI keycode to install:

Thanks

Thank you Don, unfortunately, the link did not work. I got a msg saying that some of the files were corrupted. This was a network installation. I am trying to get the cd from our pc support. Is there another link I can use, just in case?

thanks

They should work, you may have to download again.

See if these one work better, I think they are the same files though...

do I need to run both or just the full build?

both... Full build install, and use your XI key code, and then run SP6 to the late SP.

You can also run the very last distribution package for Fix Pack 6.4 to get the last update.

Go to our Download Page in this SDN and find the 6.4 Server install.

Don,

Thank you for your help. I was able to install the full packag, or at least the installation went all the way to the end. I was able to check the ODBC drivers box so that, it would add it. It asked me to restart and I did. However, when I opened the data source (odbc), I did not see any of cr drivers. I opened crystal and it looks like the version did not change 11.0.0.895. When I tried to run the other sp6 file, it gave me a msg that I need to have at lease sp4 or sp5 installed. Since the full bld that you gave me was sp4, I feel that even though the installation went all the way through, it did not install correctly somehow. Any idea if I can just install the ODBC drivers from somewhere else?

Hello,

That's strange, Does the installer say "Crystal Reports XI Release 2 setup" for the full install?

Try re-booting.

My mistake, I thought the drivers were included in the install. The download for the DD 5.1 drivers has been removed so try the CR 2008 DD5.3 drivers. They should work:

https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100008666562008E/cr_datadirect53_win32.zip

Doesn't explain why the install is failing though...

Don,

Do you know where I can find a 64bit version of the driver?

Thanks,

John
