Hello,

Yes it is possible on ABAP AS. You need to go through the import conditions before installing this component via SAINT.

SEM-BW 700 is the latest release available in SMP. You need to deploy the patches based on your target level.

Dear Siva,

SEM-BW 700 needs NW 7.1, we want to perform a new installation of this add-on on NW7.3.

In my opinion there isn't possibility to install sem-bw on NW7.3, there is only a upgrade with SEM-BW6.34. Anybody can confirm?

Hello

We had a similar situation for ECC DIMP 605 in ECC EhP5 NW 7.02.

We generated the xml file, placed the delta dump for 605, delta dump for 604 and delta dump for 603 in the backend (extracted from the location "/usr/sap/trans") and from SAINT we were able to perform the installation of ECC DIMP 605.

Similarly you check in SMP for the pre-requisite of SEM-BW 700, place them in the backend and try.

As per note 1539356 suggested by Sunny, you may need to first install SEM-BW 634 and then upgrade to 700.

As per SAPNote 1531022 I see "A new installation of SEM-BW on SAP NetWeaver BW 7.3 is not supported." but I want to be sure if it's possible.

About installation of SEM-BW 634 I see for this version only upgrade package at marketplace, so how can I perform a installation?

Maybe I don't understad it well:)

..but i'm currently on NW 7.3 without any SEM-BW. I want to install SEM-BW on existing nw7.3.

All notes that you and other colleagues provided tells about sem-bw 634 which can be used if we do the upgrade from NW7.0 with SEM-BW 604 to NW7.3 with SEM-BW 634. There isn't my case i think.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

Hello Michal,

You can install SEM-BW 604 ,and after that you can proceed with SEM-BW 634 upgrade.

This is the process you have to follow for SEM-BW installation in Netweaver 7.3

This is not my first use of SPAM/SAINT:)

I put those files (att, pat) in EPS/in. From SAINT I refresh EPS inbox. When I'm going forward with SAINT I have empty list of add-ons possible to install.

Bro, have you checked the pre-requisite for SEM-BW 604 installations like :

Component Release Package

SAP_BASIS 701 SAPKB70101

Add-On Components

FINBASIS 604

SAP_BS_FND 701

etc..

You can find these in smp, while downloading SEM-Bw 604, there are information given .

So as of prerequisiteis of SEM-BW 604 there INSN'T possible to install it od NW 7.3 (sap_basis 730 not 7.01).

So why you wrote to install SEM-BW 604 first and then upgrade it to SEM-BW 634?

sap_basis ,finbasis and sap_bs_fnd are pre requisite,

IN SMP they mention the lowest version which should be there as pre-requisite,

If you have sap_basis 730 as well, then also you can proceed.

thats why I wrote, install SEM-BW 604 first (first install all pre-requisite then try it) and then upgrade it to SEM-BW 634?

If packages are not visible in EPS/in, you can also try to load packages from frontend.

There isn't possibillity to install SEM-BW@NW7.3, only with upgrade from earlier versions NW with SEM-BW.

If you have ABAP stack already, you can download and install the SEM-BW as Add on. Make sure you download the right version of SEM-BW
