Insert new contract lines from accepted quotation

Dear all,

We running SRM 7.01 SP4, we are using Central Contract Management.

How can we add to an existing contract, new lines coming from an accepted quotation?

Is this possible?

This is only possible in contract renegotiation process. ie. the Rfx is created out of contract. If the quote is a response to a new rfx( From SC/PR/Rfx created from scratch), you cannot update an existsing contract.

Hi Azad,

We tested the renegotiation of the contract, we followed these steps starting with an approved contract:

1. Renew Contract

2. Generate new Bid invitation

3. Added new lines from SC lines to the bid invitation.

4. Quote by the same vendor

5. Update the existing contract.

This process works fine for existing positions of the contract, but not for new added positions (in step 3). At the time of updating the contract from the quotation, the new lines are not inserted in the contract.

Any ideas? This process should work?

I do not have RENEGOTIATE button, only RENEW...

I am in SRM 7.01 SP4
