Hi,

There is no need of specific configuration to use materialized view. You need access on materialized view to pull in the Designer.

Thanks,

Amit

Hi,

This access is provided only by Oracle, right?

Last question,

In the designer I bring all tables or just the view? The user will access the dimensions of the table or view?

Thanks

Hi,

Use the view in the designer which is based on the tables. So all fields should be in the view. For objects use View only.

Thanks,

Amit,

So bring only the Oracle View to the designer and let the others objects in the star schema?

In this case, the user always acess the view first.

Tkanks a lot.

Hi,

First you need to understand for how many tables you can create Materialized view.Join M view with other tables in the Universe.Like M view is based on the 4 tables then required columns pull in the M view select part.Create objects on M View.Than join M view with other tables as require..

Thanks,

Amit
