Dear All,
if you want it assign job using SM36, parameter or other related error many come.
so best way is execute job from SPRO -> inout connection and user input then execute in background and assign periodic basis. Easy way.
Thanks,
Arif

Check the RTA's installed on the Plug-in System too. That's one root cause for the Sync Jobs to fail.

Hi Raj,
I have a similar error for which I have put up a separate post, your input would be highly valuable.
My RFC connection works via the test in SM59 but when executing GRAC_AUTH_SYNC I get a simiar error to your above.
Please let me know what steps you took.
Best regards,
Paul

Hello Raj,
As per my understanding with your error,
issue with connector and batch user id,check your connector which is mapped to your backend system, what is the error showing in SLG1?

Dear Raj,
I am also facing the same issue while trying to add systems and run the sync jobs. Please could you suggest how you resolved this issue.
I am getting the error "Error in RFC; 'Function module "/GRCPI/GRIA_ROLE_GET_RANGES" not' " while trying to run the sync job which is the same errror message as listed by you.
Thanks.
Hi Raj
I have the same error, trying to synchronize users roles and profiles sends me the error: Error in RFC; 'Function module "/ GRCPI / GRIA_PROF_GET_RANGES" not ", and check the connector associated with the scenarios (AUTH, PROV, SUPMG etc) and are associated correctly.
What was your solution?. Thank you.
