BW NW 7.0 SPs 21 to Upgrade to EHP2 SPs09 -- Post Upgrade Issues

Hi All,

Recently we upgraded our BW Sandbox system from BW NW 7.0 SPs 21 to EHP2 SPs09

The BW team is now doing a few post upgrade checks

Their data loads in SCM system are failing when extracting from BW system and gives the following error -

"Incomplete control parameter for communication with the BW system

Diagnosis - The control parameters for communication with the BW server are not complete. A BW Plugin upgrade could be the cause of the problem."

I checked in RSA1 and all the source system connections are working fine. Also checked the SM59 RFC setups which are working all fine.

Then came across this SAP Note 359412 - Error message R3030, control parameter incomplete

But not sure how to proceed as it's mentioned in the note,

Make sure that you have at least imported patch 3 for PI-A 2000.1 or PI 2000.1, otherwise the error will not disappear even if you follow that above-mentioned procedure.

Dear Sameer,

Regarding the error "R3 030", first please use the T-cd=SCC4 to check if there is any modification of the logical system name, if so, please set the logical system name correctly.

Then please refer the note 398335 and 359412, and then try the following:

1.- Go to RSA1 transaction and select Modeling - Source System

2.- Select the related source system and select option "Activate"

After this, please reload the data and check the issue again.
