Original values not updating for Qualitative Characteristic

Hi Experts,

In Results Recording the Original value is not updating for qualitative characteristic. for Quantitative Characteristic the original value is updating.

Training server it is updating for both characteristic. where as in quality Client it is not updating for Qualitative Characteristic.

Please guide me, Is there any configuration setting is missing?

Check the control indicators ,

for the one its showing the original value must be having "summurize result recording "

Hi are you rensfering the results from some other system to SAP through interface or you are copying the results from previus inspection lot .. What tis the scenario ..

Dear Ranjan,

We are not using interface or not copying the Previous inspection lot results.

We are directly entering the results in t.code. QE01. but the orginal values are updating for Quantitative not for Qualitative Characteristics.

Please Guide me.

Hi Please check the following 2 things.

1. If the correct selected set is assign to the MIC.

2. Control indicator for the MIC characteristic attribute is clicked.

Hello...

There has to be problem in Selected set.

Check particular selected set in QS51.Some entries might have changed while in-corporating changes in Selected set.

Hi,

I have activated the characteristic control indicator 1. Char Attributes 2. Sampling Procedure 3. Summ. recording 4. Required char 5. Fixed Scope 6. No Document 7. Long term inspection 8. print.

Selected sets are assigned to characteristic.

but still i am facing the problem,

Please guide me, I need Help.

Pl. check whether you assigned the Selected set to the characteristic or not. Also, pl. check whether you assigned plant to the selected set or not. Regards, KrishnaM

hii..

i strongly feel the problem is related to selected Set.

like, right Plant is maintained in inspection plan for selected set.

or Selected set(Codes) has been changed.

or, can you give more details, like what you have maintained in Code groups, selected set,

then while result recording can you get the drop down of all Codes?

and if you select Code: 0001 then what is happening?
