I logon in my OS with user SIDOFR and check that file exist.

Then I try execute R3NMC400/R3INLPGM but does not found.

Hello William,

please check also the profiles for the shadow instance somewhere in /usr/sap/NMC/EHPI/... and change both the start profile and instance profile by adding DIR_LIBRARY_RMT = /usr/sap/NMC/EHPI/abap/exenew. Note 1634303 may be applicable for your situation

The issue is SOLVED.

For solved this issue:

1. The kernel library and kernel library upgrade was wrong, for solved this issue I load latest kernel to both libraries. (LODSAPKRN, APYR3FIX and APYSAP)

2. comment line #DIR_LIBRARY_RMT in instance profile and shadow instance profile

3. Restart SAP system and JOB EHPI, for this, in the error step select: exit program, then stop installation in menu bar, start JOB EHPI how indicated the guide EHPI, and continue phase.

It looks like some issue with your SAP kernel. Ensure that binaries from SAPEXE.SAR and SAPEXEDB.SAR are in sync and are of same level. Additionally you can download libdbsl.sar from marketplace and check again.

i check that my R3INLPGM not was replaced, I am trying apply ILE but I get error in SAPCAR

/QSYS.LIB/R3FIX700U.LIB -flat ILE.FILE

SAPCAR failed.

Hi William,

I'm not sure, that this really needs to be exchanged.

It only gets replaced when it is outdated.

As it is recommended, to patch this one BEFORE the upgrade, it is higly likely, that it is fully ok like this.

In the last years, they removed more and more code from r3inlpgm to sapinlpgm (in the kernel) - therefore, this one is now more or less release independent

You seem to be at the beginning of the downtime.

I would recommend the following question:

Try to hunt for the following profile parameter in the instance profile:

DIR_LIBRARY_RMT

Then remove it with a comment line ... and stop SAP completely and repeat.

If you cannot find this one, please open an OSS message with BC-OP-AS4 as there seems to be a current problem in the upgrade tools in this area ...

Check SAP Note 1634303 - DB4: Initial DB connects are failing. No apply for 7.01 but is the same error.

I would say, on 7.01, it would be a "similar error" only, as the error messages do look a bit different ...

So, you should open a trouble ticket ...

I solved my issue, change the DIR_LIBRARY_RMT in both profiles (instance and start)

DIR_LIBRARY_RMT = $(DIR_EXECUTABLE) to DIR_LIBRARY_RMT = /usr/sap/NMC/SYS/exe/run

The instance startup

But in other phase I get another error, maybe is caused for this change
