Hi SAP Gurus,
Are you aware of any "standard" ways to convert Purchase orders into Sales orders?
(via EDI or BAPI's for example)
Can anyone provide some more info on this?

EDI is better than BAPI for this conversion.. You can try it via..
IDoc type: ORDERS05
outbound FM: IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS
inbound FM: IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS
"Purchase order" refer to a one that customer placed in his own system and then send to us, if that so, I would suggest you use EDI to transport.

The PO is from the production facility (vendor) to our plants (buyer).
We need to transfer them into SO because the interface with the MES system (of the production facility) is designed to only work with SO.
