File 2 File(multi line) Scenario doubt...

Hi All,

I am doing mulitine scenario Based on a sdn weblog (/people/venkat.donela/blog/2005/03/02/introduction-to-simplefile-xi-filescenario-and-complete-walk-through-for-starterspart1)

when i create datatype, by deafault i am getting category type of FILEINPUT as Simpletype, when i insert a subelement to FILEINPUT the category type is changed to complex type.

But in the blog the category type is element , how to change category from simpletype to element ?

Pls help me out in this

Hi pankaj,

what you see in the blog is not the datatype. It is the message-type.

If you define the message type, you will see your OK!

Hi Pankaj,

if you put other elements into an element it will become "complex type".

You can choose with a select option for example string -> that will be a simple type.
