How to bring Golden Client in SYNC with Production client

Dear Sir,

We have a situation of gloden client configuration not in sync with the production client configuration . I understand that had we followed SAP standard appraoch then such type of issue would not have there at all .

I request to kindly guide us about the steps so that we can bring golden client configuration as per the current production client configuration .

Hello Sonia,

You can do the client copy using SCC8.

enter into production system and use t-code SCC8.

after that use target system and profile as SAP_APPL if you dont need data in golden client else you can select SAP_ALL profile.

2 TRs will generate, you can monitor it in SCC3.

After that you have to import these TRs in golden client and run SCC7 after that.

But this method will not copy workbench data.

Yeah Sunny,

You are absolutely right, but as Sonia asked for "sync with the production client configuration " so I suggested that,

otherwise if she need workbench data then she should go for DB refresh, which is a big activity.

Can she use any other method instead of DB refresh?
