hi everyone
I am facing a problem in sales order creation
We all are aware of the fact that plant determination happens in the following priority
1) Customer Material Info record
2) customer master
3) material master
In our project we have not maintained customer material info record nor have we maintained plant in customer master
We have maintained only one plant per sales area view for every material in the material master
But in the sales order plant is not being determined automatically as it should as per the priority .
As far as i know we have there is no setting required for this
Can anyone please help me in this matter .
Thanks and Regards
Sunil
We have maintained only one plant per sales area
view for every material in the material master
u have to maintain the delivery plant field in the sales org 1 data
Both your above statements are contradict to each other. In the first sentence, you say plant is maintained in material master which obviously made us to conclude that you have maintained the delivering plant in material master and in the second statement, you say you have to maintain the delivering plant which means you have not maintained initially.
Please try to convey clearly whenever you need any assistance from this forum.

If the system is not getting plant determined through following into sales order
1) Customer Material Info record
2) customer master
3) material master
This is not a standard behaviour.
This be b'coz of following things:
- Sales data pushed or sync with other system like CRM.
- plant data maintain in sales doc is different from customer master & material master
- Some enhancement done.
I suggest you to debug the process and check the root cause of the change this standard behaviour of the system.

Check in OVX6 whether you have assigned the plant to sales organisation and distribution channel. Also try with different plant and update here.
