Installation of SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5 AS ABAP and AS JAVA(EP)

Hi Experts

My Client requirement is SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5 AS ABAP and AS JAVA(EP)

i have installed AS ABAP centeral sytem with <SID> completed successfull

need to start AS JAVA central system after selecting the components for EP again asking SID, Hear can i give the same <SID> as Mentioned in AS ABAP or Need to give different <SID>.

Please suggest me

Hi Raju,

Two installation cannot share same SID unless its different system. So, you have to give new SID for EP installation.

as per old version sap erp 2005 sr3 we can select AS ABAP+JAVA at a time with one <SID> by selecting additional components EP but in present verion its different

Enhancement Package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 -> SAP Application server ABAP and SAP Application server JAVA for this we have to provide different SID's

As said above from Business Suite 7, there is no option to install dual stack system. You have to install AS ABAP and AS Java as separate system only.

Hi,

From Business Suite 7, you cannot install dual stack system. You need to install both system separately with different SID's.
