App for ipad SAP BO Mobile crash after prompt value inserted

Hi experts, i have this seriuos problem.

I created a webi report on Bex Query by BICS connection and then i created a prompt with query filter panel; then i published it for ipad.

So when refreshed it on app SAP Business Obj Mobile, i inserted value on the prompt but at the selection of Filters button to confirm, the app closed suddenly.

This issue occur both on ipad1 and ipad2.

Have you got some suggestion?

Hi Andrea,

the prompts have some limitations as explained in the [SAP BusinessObjects Mobile Release Notes|http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexir4/en/401_mobiPad_rn_en.pdf] however if it crashes this is something we should try to trap with an error message in any case.

Would you please provide additional details about the problem and screenshots?

Hi Simone,

the prompt has been developed by query panel.

the issue is that after the confirm of the value selected on filter, the app close immediately.

can you please attach a detailed explanation on how you reproduce the problem with screenshots of the performed steps.

Please check also if there is particular combination of objects that leads to the error or if this happens with all of them.

We also need detailed information on all the components of the system environment

Hi,

Can you also check if the same is working in BI launchpad.

As simone mentioned there are some limiations to design reports.

Dynamic and cascading prompts are not supported yet on Ipads or BB phones.

It might be the memory issue in your ipad.

Please double click of ipad start button and kill all running process(program).

If you don't know how to do it, please shut down ipad and run it BI mobile only.
