EWM issue when moving products from GR-ZONE to Quality Inspection

Hi all,

I'm working on the configuration of inbound processing in SAP EWM, and I'm having an issue with regards to quality inspection.

I have configured the POSC-settings and I've assigned the storage process to my warehouse process type.

When the Inbound Delivery is created in EWM, an Inspection Document is also created.

However, when I post the goods receipt, the system doesn't create any warehouse task which would allow me to send the goods to my quality inspection work center. When I try to create a WT manually, the following error message is displayed:

No destination data could be determined for the quality inspection

I guess I'm missing something in customizing... but what?

Hi,

I found an answer to my issue, for the ones who are interested:

In the POSC configuration (SPRO > EWM > Cross-Process Settings > Warehouse Task > Define Process-Oriented Storage Control, subfolder Process-Oriented Storage Control), you need to enter the specific destination data for the External Step QIS. So, things like dest. storage type, and dest. storage bin need to be entered. The Rules-Based checkbox needs to be unflagged.
