Error in Mobile Administrator, section device maintenance

Former Member

Hi,

on our WebAS 6.40 SP18, I have configured the mobile admin according to the MI Installation Guide. When I access the section "Device Maintenance" and perform any search, I get the following error:

com.sap.ip.mi.admin.core.ApplicationException: Connection couldn't be recreated: 1 cause: Encountered invalid managed connection, last cause Couldn't execute interaction. 2 cause: Couldn't execute interaction.

I can see the list of devices, but if I mark one, I don´t get the details of it. What could be the cause?

Cheers,

Thorsten

Hi Benjamin,

If the problem is same as @Thorsten has reported, then this is definitely an authorization issue. User configured on SAPJRAFactory_LANG(ie.EN) has not sufficient right on ABAP stack to execute the RFC's.

Please try with assigning role SAP_ALL to the user.

Please reward points if this helps you.

Hi!

Anything new to this error?

The solution posted, is not working here!

Any other clues?

Hi everybody,

I had the same problem in our internal test system.

Therefore I gave the service admin user the following RFC Auth Check (S_RFC):

BAPT

BWAF_MOMO

BWAF_MW

MEMGMT_DEVICE

MEMGMT_DEVICETEMPLATE

MEMGMT_F4HELP

MEMGMT_HIERARCHY

MEMGMT_MOBILE_CONTAINER

ME_CONFIG_INFO

ME_USER

MI_PACKAGE_GEN

RFC1

SDIFRUNTIME

SG00

SRFC

SUSO

SYST

SYSU

Hopefully this will help.

Cheers,

Hi,

I had the same error when I tried to access the section "Hierarchy Grouping", "Device Maintenance". My MW server is WAS640 SP18. I would appreciate if you could share any hints on this issue if you have.

Thanks and regards,

Hi Zhidan,

sorry, I don´t have a solution so far. It appears to be a bug in SP18.

Hi,

I did some tests. Seems there is some info in the Instguid missing:

Please add in the profile for your service admin user the following RFC Auth Check (S_RFC):

ME_CONFIG_INFO

Then this error should not come up anymore.
