sdbinst installation failed

Dear All,

Please help me out

while installing maxdb throw command prompt i am getting below error.

starting installation We, Dec 28, 2011 at 17:17:17

operating system: Windows I386 NT 6.1

callers working directory: C:/maxdb-all-win-32bit-i386-7_5_00_34

installer directory: C:/maxdb-all-win-32bit-i386-7_5_00_34

install registry path "C:/ProgramData/sdb/globaldata/config/install" dont exist

cannot create install registry file

installation exited abnormally at We, Dec 28, 2011 at 17:17:17

how can i over come this problem.

Hi,

Remove the registry key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\SAP DBTech

with all subkeys and values.

then you can use sdbinst again.

use "sdbuninst -all" in a cmd window to uninstall MaxDB software completely.
