Link PI to SolMan

Hi Experts,

I have to link the PI to SolMan as it is being planned that SolMan should be used as a Monitoring Tool. I have gone through various blogs and discussion threads but nowhere it is mentioned how can we link PI to SolMan and how can we test the connection? As I am new for this whole scenario, I need a step-by-step guide which can help me in setting up the whole thing from scratch. Also, after I connect the PI to SolMan, I need to configure the Alerting System/ Monitoring on it.
