Inspection Point required for 04 inspection type or not

Hi all..,

In inspection plan, header level inspection point to be assigned for Inspection type is must required or not..? & just i want to know here if i'm assigning inspection point "100" what i'll happen is there any issue..?

hi,

yes u will asign, there is no issue.

when u assigned the inspection point to 04 type than user are able to inspect the material at different time interval or may inspect the sample along with stck posting facility.

Dear Kiru,

It is not mandatory to have Inspection point in Inspection Type 04.

If you maintain "100" inspection point in inspection Plan then whenever you get an inspection lot you can record multiple sets of characteristic results for an operation.

If your business requirement is to have multiple sets of Characteristic results then you can use Inspection point.

In every Inspection point 100, 200 etc etc... there are specific User fields maintained like Date, Time etc.

At the time of result recording system wil ask for these User fields.

please have a look in SPRO>IMG>QM>Inspection planning>General>Identifier for inspection points.
