Hi All,
I am certified in "ABAP Workbench Development Consultant", and working since last six months. During this TechEd2006, I am planning for XI Certification and having very much confusion between Technology Certification and Development Certification.
1) Can anyone suggest me, which one is better according to my profile.
2) Also tell me which one is best option according to career growth, market demand and opportunity wise.
I am very much thankful to all of you in advance.
Regards,
Vipin & Kevin.

technology : XI installation and administration of the server
development: development of the interfaces on XI

Hi Vipin,
As per your query concerned. I have few tips for that.
As you already know difference between both Certifications.
After analyzing your profile and experience, my personnel opinion for you is to go with Development Certification. You are working on development, so it best suits your profile. While Technology is better for BASIS people, mostly helpful for people who are working admin side.
As per market concern both are really very boom!!
I hope, it will help you to choose your certification.

Kevin Ramani

Hi Vipin,
There are 2 certifications available for XI one is development and the other one is technology as you said. As the name implies development implies developing interfaces using XI, technology consultants deal wit BASIS stuff required for the development of XI interfaces.
I think you can now decide the one for your carreer.
Regards,
Jai Shankar.
