Error generating HR_F_W2_AUDIT from PU19 for large population of employes

Hello,

We are getting an error when trying to generate HR_F_W2_AUDIT report for a large population of employees. It works fine when we generate it for single employee but fails for a large population.

We had similar issues and even had to refix each year after applying HRSPs. By default the HR_F_W2_AUDIT form is set to print 9999 employees per page. We found this is too much for Adobe Document Services to handle. If instead you adjust the value down to say 100, then your ADS server should be able to handle it. To check and adjust the value:

1. Run t-code SPRO

2. Navigate to and execute Payroll --> Payroll: USA --> Tax Reporter --> Tax Form Definition --> PDF-Based Forms --> Define Validity Dates and Form Parameters

3. When prompted enter Country Grouping 10 (for USA) and Tax Form HR_F_W2, then continue

4. Find the currently valid (based on start and end dates) HR_F_W2_AUDIT form which should be a PDF type. Double click on that row

5. In the Form details section you will see "No. of EE per page" setting. The default for this is 9999. Set this to a much smaller value such as 100. This will avoid overwhelming ADS.

The specific errors in the Tax Reporter log we saw when this value was too large were:

Error in generating the PDF form: HR_F_W2_AUDIT SOAP Framework error: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoa pException Transport : HTTP re

Hello,

Issue is due to split of job, you haven't maintained or maintained larger volume. Kindly maintain the feature UTRPS, maintain less than 5000 number of employee's for the print job split.

This will solve your problem.
