Dear Experts,

I made MIC with the following control data:

Type:

x lower specif. limit

x Upper specif. limit

Sample:

x Sampling procedure

x spc characteristic

Result confirmation:

x Summ. recording

X required char

Then I created a sampling procedure with these data

Sampling type: Fixed sample

Valuation mode: 500 Manual valuation

control char type: 111 shewart chart for x-bar/sample

sample size = 5

then I created a inspection plan with these mic and sampling procedure

SPC criterion: 060 master inspection characteristic

when i am saving the quality plan it is throwing an error message "The control chart in the sampling method does not match the insp. char."

please help me.

Hi...

instead of "Manual Valuation" you have to maintain Valuation Mode: SPC inspection.

According to me all other things are fine.

Dear D Guru

I am doing this control charts customization for the fist time can you please tell me which chart i have to take and the suitable control charts types for "spc" criteria types in quality plan.

You need to do single result recording in place of summerized result recording for the inspection characteristic so that the system can calculate the X-bar and the control limits for the material.

Dear qmconet,

Control chart type, and SPC criterion used by you are Standards. U need not to do any customization.

What i think is, standard settings of Control chart type are changed.

Kindly check

SPRO>IMG>QM>Quality Planning> Basic Data>Sample, SPC>Statistical process Control> Define control chart type.
