"Too many profiles"

Hi,

In GRC CUP we are facing the below issue frequently.

Whenever the user's are raising CUP request for change user and requesting for some roles we are getting the below errors for some systems. And the roles are not getting assigned properly.

Even when we checked in UST04 the users are having less than 312 profiles only. Can anyone help here?

And the error is :

"Auto provisioned for request on 12/23/2011 09:14

User Provisioning failed for System(s) : MBP_910_09. Error Message : 310053752 User Already Exist

Role Provisioning failed for System(s) : MBP_910_09. Error Message : Exception condition "TOO_MANY_PROFILES_IN_USER" raised. "

it directly says that user already exists, can you please check it by creating new user id,

Hi Pavithra,

I am assuming that you are in GRC 5.3. From the first error message it seems requestors are trying to create users that already exist so we are seeing issue with user provisioning. Role provisioning might be related to the user provisioning only so lets clear the first error first.

Also in the configuration tab -> workflow, please have a look at global and system auto provisioning options. There is one option which will not allow you to create the user if the request type is change user.
