Node missing - subcontracting with chargeable components

Dear Experts,

Our system is ERP EHP5 SPS05.

In SPRO under MM - Inventory Management and Physical Inventory -

the node Subcontracting with chargeable components is missing

Please help.

Dear Kotakonda,

You have to activate Business function related to MM - Inventory Management and Physical Inventory by t-code SFW5.

NB: Please keep in mind that activation of Business function is non-reversible.So consult with your functional team before doing that.

Hi Amit,

Could you please tell me what is that Business function to be activated?

Our MM consultant says the node comes by default with ERP 6.0

Dear Kotakonda,

In the IMG activity Activation Switch for SAP R/3 Enterprise Extension Set, activate Extension Set

EA-SCM.

Then carry out the IMG activities for Subcontracting with Chargeable Components in Customizing for

Materials Management (MM), by choosing Inventory Management and Physical Inventory ->

Subcontracting with Chargeable Components.

Can you please let us know that activating EA-SCM using SFW5 helps to activate node "Subcontracting with Chargeable Components" .

If yes then you can close the message, else we will look for the other solution.

Dear Kotakonda,

To active SCC (Subcontracting with chargeable components) IMG node, you need to activate SAP ECC Extension EA-SCM, please follow the below steps:

o System Setting (SFW5)

( or Tcode SPRO > first node "Activation Switch for ECC Extensions" )

o Activate "EA-SCM" status to "ON"

Then, please also refer to the attached note 912416 carefully that SCC function is developed only for Japanese customer specific using.
