XML message are taking too long time

Hi,

We have outbound iterface. XML messages are created and passed to PI system. Actually almost 220 XML messages are getting created on daily basis. Out of these around 180 XML messages are sent to PI. For remaining messages, difference between start time and end time is almost 23 hours. So whole data is not reflected to other system on time due this long processing time for 40 XML messages.

What could br the reason for taking so long time for processing in ECC before sending it to PI system?

It could be a background job that it taking too much of time due to lack of system resources

THis could be many things. If the XML processing is after a transaction, then it might be because of the time taken for the tranaction to complete. Ideal way is to monitor the ECC system, while the XML messages are getting processed. Check the work procecesses, Check any database table locks, Any other performance isues in the ECC system, while this is running.
