Mapping of Asset from PM Equipment and workflow trigger.

If we create PM equipment then for automatic creation of asset how we can trigger workflow?

Detail:-

If I make a new PM equipment, asset will automatically create.

This automatically creation of asset I need an email in workflow. That equipment has been create please make asset against it. Please tell me which settings i have to do for this workflow.

pl see configuration under Financial accounting > asset accounting > master data > automatic creation of equipment master.

there is a provision for workflow there.

Hi Junaid,

I am not able to get your point, Is the asset already created by creating the Equipment Master or you want the asset to be created by the by the FI team as the Equipment is created and they should create the Asset.

if the assets are already created they they can be checked out easily from the Equipment master list as by the "Created By" field.

as far as the work flow is concerned, I wasnt able to find any standard workflow to be triggered at the time of creating of an Equipment, I guess that you will have to go for the Z.
