Hi,

Is it possible to use MTO stock for other sales order ?

I have one scenario where customer want to use MTO sales order stock for any other MTO sales order.

For example..I have created one MTO X sales order with 500 qty ,500 qty stock will get reserve against this X sales order now here customer is making two Y and Z MTO sales order of same requirement and want to use the stock of X sales order for Y and Z order.

is it possible to make stock reservation of one MTO sales order to another?

please suggest..

Hi,

If you want to allocate stock of one sales order to another sales order, then you need to do Transfer Posting of stock from sales order Y to sales order Z.

Transaction code to use: MIGO

A08 Transfer Posting; R10 Other.

Movement Type: 412 E

Using the above parameters, do the transfer posting from sales order Y to Z. Then the stock will be reserved to sales order Z.
