Creating Sell Side User - NetWeaver UME - Sourcing 7.0

Hello All,

I am trying to create a Sell Side (that is Supplier Contact) user on a SAP Sourcing 7.0 Environment. NetWeaver UME is the Driver for the Internal and External directories.

Whenever I try to add a contact for supplier, under 'Account Management' the 'Enable User To Login' checkbox is greyed out.

Any suggestions on how to tackle this problem? I've been following the SAP Sourcing Configuration guide and haven't been able to find a resolution.

Hi

Go to Setup-> Configuration->Directory COnfig, open the sell side directory that is active and make sure in driver configuration New Accounts is checked.

Thanks Mudit!! Is there anyway I can set the default password for new users or will they always be emailed to the user?

Hi,

Default passwords are set by the system and emailed to the user. You will not have any control over setting the password value.
