Go to control panel and check whether you have mulitple versions of jre. Also delete the cache if any as previous expert recommended. If you have javaws executabe file under jre/bin, you are having java webstart. If you have multiple versions of jre. delete the old versions.

Tried all the options mentioned,

we have javaws file as well in jre/bin.

After i click "Integration Builder " it starts javastack logon pad & hangs thereafter,

when i forcibly stop it, it gives below message,

"java(TM) platform SE Binary is not responding"

Is jr6 sufficient for java stack in pi 7.1 ?

B'cos, i remember using jdk as well in earlier version.

we have only jre6 folder in Java folder.

Yes java runtime version (jre) is sufficient for java webstart program to start and use as client for PI server. You dont need JDK for this. Go to control panel and check how many jre versions are runing. If so, delete all of them and reinstall freshly latest jre version. Restart the PC.

Hi..

Try this

Load using Java Web Star..it's located on java folder usually...\jre\javaws\javaws.exe

If not load , delete cache folder and load again.
