compare forms in dev and prod

Is there a chance to compare forms (from samrtforms) between DEV and PROD as in abap with se38 ( comparing versions per rfc)?

Hi,

Execute your forms in both dev and PRD.

You will get the FM name.

Goto transaction SE39 and click on Compare Different Systems tab.

Under Left-Justified you can find the radio button Function.Give the dev server FM name.

Under Right-Justified,give your PRD server FM name.

Provide the PRD system name in RFC destination.(You can find in search help) and click on Display button.

You can find the diffence bt them.

Hi,

In table E071 give smartform name and it will display no of requests created against that smart form, same do in DEV and as well as PRD and compare in DEV which version available and same PRD.

There is a report named "FP_VERSION_COMPARE" - anyone konws it?

How can I create a new version of smartforms?

Don't know any standard tool to make this, but you can do one thing. In smartforms choose Utilities->Download both in PROD and DEV. Export SFs to XML files and compare content using i.e. Total Commander. It will give you an idea if their versions are aligned.
