Urgent Please..Release Test Plan from Change Document

Hi

I have an implementation project , i have activated ChaRM for it . I have created Test Plan.

Is it possible to release the Test Plan from the change document when we set the action "Development Complete" it sets the status of change document to "To be tested" .

We want to release the test plan for the project simultaneously..

Please help

Hi,

what is your maintenance cycle phase?? what is your solution manager version

check the action profile for normal change, there would be a action to navigate to test workbench, There you can release the test plan.

I am not sure, there we can directly release the Test plans from CR.

we have SOlution Manager 7.0 EHP 1.

The Phase of my project cycle is "Development With Release".

I believe solman 7.1 offers ChaRM integration with test management, rite?

This doesnt sound ok because

Test plan is created for the entire project which might have changes for the entire project corresponding to several landscape like ecc srm ep bi etc

but

change document might corresponds to limited no of system as it signifies a change.Also there are several changes or more than one change document created for the same project.

therefore this config doesnt exists.

THis gives rise to another question taht what is recommended workflow for implementation project??

Because i have activated charm to carry all the changes to the landscape with the project cycle along with using the test management feature of the solution manager.

Please guide me the best practice for Implementation project workflow
