SAP creating deliveries on small amounts on completed deliveries

Hi all,

SAP is rounding quantities and leaving a small amount remaining as open and is creating deliveries for the few Lbs. left to do rounding. How can we prevent this from happening?

Your message is not clear, the caption looks like after delivery small amounts are left, but the content looks small quantities are open in sales order. Can you explain with an example?

Despite that, did you try using rounding profile and/or delivery unit in the material master ->sales; sales org 1 view? You need to check the rounding at item category level in t.code VOV7.

When we ship 50,000 lbs. on an order, SAP rounds it to 49,997 lbs. and creates an additional delivery for 3 lbs. How can we stop SAP from creating that additional 3 Lbs delivery?

goto item level in your order (Shipping tab) and look at Max.Part.Deliv. field - make sure it is blank
