When i'm creating sales order more than availability quantity, in item level schedule line tab it was showing next delivery date.

My question is How it was calculating next delivery date? apart from In house production days.

I hope PROPOSE DELIVERY DATE gives delivery date only not for next delivery date.

Sorry for that, In Request delivery date, lead time in days 1 and activate the Propose delivery date

HI,

Propose delivery date :Propose today date as delivery date,if material is available the schedule line's are confirmed for today.

Lead time in days : if you maintained any lead days here system will take those days into consideration and propose delivery,if

the lead days are 5 on the 5th day if material available it will confirm the schedule line's if not it will take in house production

days. That means 5 days + in house production +loading + packing time (From shipping point) taking all this into consideration it

will finalize the schedule delivery date.

Hi

In Material master in MRP 2 View we maintain the time.

and we Have RLT Check box at Carry out control for availability check in Availability check configuration.

Hi Friend,

system automatically proposes the current date as the delivery date. If the stock is not available to fulfill the sales order system considers the RLT Time and proposes new date.

Thanks
