Hi Gurus,
Is there a way to make an inside cross-reference link (like a Microsoft Word Document bookmark) inside a Microsoft Word document that points to a DMS document, before uploading the MS Word Doc to the DMS?
I know it may sound a crazy requirement (I don´t know anything about DMS), because I haven´t found any thread with a similar subject.
Thanks.
Hi Garcia,
SAP DMS does not support functionality like bookmarks. But there is some custom solution from SEAL for DMS which can intergrate with SAP and provide bookmark functionality.
Refer link http://www.stilo.com/plm/Products/DocumentOutputManagementfromSealSystems/tabid/581/Default.aspx
Hope this is useful.

If you are looking at referencing the DIR(original + meta data),am afraid its not possible. If its only the original, then you may want to explore the URL option in easyDMS context menu or [this|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/PLM/SAPContentManagement-LinkbetweenSAPObjectsand+originals] option in SAP DMS. See if these options help you in any way.
