Solman 7.1 Stack 2 stability

Hi,

I recently opened a customer message on a Solution Manager 7.1 that has stack 2. The Level 1 person told me that Stack 2 had many problems, Stack 3 was the "stable" stack, and Stack 4 had improvements in the LMSERVICE module. At the end of the day, the version of the Stack had nothing to do with the problem I was working on.

Has anyone had problems with Stack 2? Any reports of instability?

Hello Russel,

It is very important to be in the latest version of Solution Manager as it is a new product and thousands of corrections are delivered in each SP.

Regarding SP2 instability, it should work perfectly but you have more fixes to follow, more notes to implement and you are more prone to find issues.

hi Russel,

Absolutely agree with Guilherme to update your solman to latest stack, from my experience, stack 2 is buggy that i've to apply plenty of notes and spent long hours to troubleshoot just to get things right. Many problems had solved with stack 3. and FYI, interface and step for SOLMAN_SETUP is different between stack 2 and 3.
