Regarding "first date" in sales order

Hello gurus,

I have a forward sales order in which all the line items have 1-1.5 month future first date but one line item have 4-5 months future first date.

client question is on what basis this vary far date is getting calculated.

Please help.

Hi,

This date is calculated either based on the ATP results or after carrying out delivery/transportation scheduling. Please check the stock situation of those materials. If transportation scheduling is active, check the lead time maintained in the determined route as well.

If you press "F1" in that field you will see how the system react on that field.

sir, lead time is not maintained for the material

the issue is with particular item, cleint is asking based on what calculation system is picking such a long date...

Hi

The material availability date is one of the criteria.

Please go to that sales order and that item schedule line and double click on the schedule line date.

here you can find three tabs SALES ,SHIPPING & Procurement.

Click on SHIPPING here you can find all the dates.

HI,

Go to Material master MRP2 view there check how many days are maintained as *in-house production days* . System will

consider these days while finalizing the schedule line's .
