Hi All,

I am trying to install sap portal server as a Distributed System.

Sap installation and DB on deferent server.

I was through Global Host preparation part and create \USR\SAP\SID\sys\profile.

My problem is when I try to install Database instance I should write the Profile Directory:

example is (for windows: Windows:
<SAPGLOBALHOST>\sapmnt\<SAPSID>\SYS\profile )

when I use: (
crmnt12\sapmnt\CR2\SYS\profile) or (
crmnt12\usr\sap\CR2\SYS\profile)

I get this Input error:

Node
crmnt12\sapmnt\CR2\SYS\profile does not exist.

I can ping DB server and sap instance server.

Any idea what is the problem?

Thanks

Hi,

Can you check the following

1) Does the sapmnt and saploc share exitst. Ensure it has full permission

2) Can you access the link
crmnt12\sapmnt
