EWM - Wave Issue at the time of bin determination

Hi

During the Wave release time we have a situation that the Wave fails because of the stock type problem i.e no stock at the bin during the wave release so it gives a error message . Is there any ways to move the results of one wave to another wave so the rest of the items can be processed without any problem .

Do we have any function module to assign the results from one wave to another .

Hi Nadesh,

With in the Wave template attributes, you have an option(Control for Bin denial) to create a Warehouse Task with alternate bin or re-assing it later.

Please explain if it is not the one you are looking for.

But is there any option or even a function module so that we can assign the attributes from one wave to another

Hi Nadeesh,

Look at the BADI /SCWM/EX_WAVE_PLAN, you could control the wave here, however if you try to read the interface definition it could give you access to the code the wave looks for, which then helps you to determine the logic used.
