Hi ,

There is a B2B Scenario.

Vender is sending Some data to SAP PI 7.1 via HTTP Sender Adapter.

Vender System( Client's Supplier) - > HTTP Sender adapter Accepts a Requests - > SAP PI - > IDOC Receiver Adapter sends a request -> SAP ECC System(Our Client System).

Now our Client wants that this HTTP Communication between SAP PI and Vender should be using secure HTTPS connection.

How to achive this , what steps need to perfom.?

Regards

Hi Shabrish

I have seen this document before, But not able to understand the same ..

My Questions are ... like ....

1. Do we have to provide any Security certificates to vender ... if Yes How to get those certificates ?

2. If i i Select nside HTTP Sender CC - > HTTP Security Level ( HTTPS with Client authentication) -

Will it work for me ... will my objective be achived ... Do we have to deploy or make changes anywhere after this ...????

3. What is the difference between HTTPS with Client authentication and HTTPS without Client authentication???

No need to provide any certificates

According to my knowledge do some settings but not at PI developer level, Client should authenticate that message so I thinks some settings are required.

Once we send data to client he authorizes the data before processing if we are using HTTPS with Client authentication.

1. Yes, provide your certificates to vendor. These are your PI server root certificates. Ask your basis team.

2. No, entire objective won't be achieved. Using client authentication is not mandatory for HTTPS. Try without it.

3. This can be searched on google
