Hi experts,
in directory /usr/sap/<sysid>//log/ we have a few files named trace##.
I know that theese are the files from system-trace (ST01) and that they are deleted automatically after a special amount (noramally 10).
But now I would like to delete a file manually.
Is there an option in ST01 to delete a file?
Or do I have to delete them via OS.
If yes, can I do this without any problems?
Thx for help
Hi,
You have to delete this file manually from OS. There is no option to delete this file from ST01. You can simply delete this file from OS and it will be created again if you have switched on trace.
Thanks
Sunny
