No RFC authorization for the function module RFCPING

Hi colleagues,

I have completed an SAP SRM ABAP installation.

I started a SAP SRM JAVA installation.

While entering the UME users data during installation i see an error

No RFC authorization for the function module RFCPING.

Can someone let me know what is this and what exactly needs to be done to resolve this.

I have already created SAPJSF user with the necessary roles i.c. SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION and SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO

Hi,

Please check your kernel release as per SAP note 1351181 as it is a kernel bug in some releases.
