Support desk Configuration!!!

Hi Dear Experts ,

Am new to solution manager. My management askng me to configure Support desk . They are saying in sap screen going to help--> create support message . users can create tickets to support team. Kindly help me how to configure it... if any one can help me with any guides explaining step by step procedure it will be too grateful.

Am using SAP Ecc6 EHP4,Solution manager 7.0 ehp1.

As Prakhar says it is not a trivial task.

You can go through the documentation in http://service.sap.com/alm. Select the Incident Management section.

Also there are self-training material in http://service.sap.com/rkt-solman

The best way to do a quick and effective implementation is to attend an Expert Guided Implementation Session. An SAP consultant will show you how to configure it in the morning. Then in the afternoon you configure it yourself in your system, with support from the SAP consultant.

Hi

Eventhough it is not purely technical and nature lot of functional work is also required for the same so i suggest better tak help of a solman consultant before proceeding.....becoz...plenty of things like org structure ....system process needs to be understood before implementing it.
