Prevent Set for processing

Dear Gurus,

I need to prevent the functionality of "set for processing" while results recording, how can it be done???

The user exit won't help.

My problem is that the change in the authorization object is not affecting the transaction at all.

Is there any ideas???

I am not very sure whether it is not possible through authorization objects.Also explore possibility of getting authorization control through exit.

I tried many combinations in this authorization object

I even removed all the values, but there is no effect on the process, as if I'm doing nothing !!!

Does any body has an idea about such behaviour ??

Have u tried removing authorization value 3 from the object

Q_CHAR_PRC for the field QESTATNEW

Check if it works.

Hi,

I suppose you are talking about status of inspection characteristics (1,2,3,4,5) in results recording.

If that is the case, you can use the authorization object : Q_CHAR_PRC for the same.

The extract/documentation of the authorization object says:

You require this authorization to record or modify results for inspection characteristics in an operation.

The functions that are permitted for processing the inspection characteristics can be defined as required by assigning the authorizations accordingly.

Defined fields

The following fields are defined:

Plant

Work center

Status of the inspection characteristic, old

Status of the inspection characteristic, new
