Different route in Sales order & Delivery

Hi,

In a Sales order (VA01) , 'default' route 'XYZ' is picked up automatically from 'Route determination' & this is correct.

Now, i manually change the route to 'ABC' in the above sales order (Tcode : VA01) & save the sales order (S00001).

When creating a delivery for this Sales order S00001, the 'default' route XYZ' is picked up in the delivery instead of the route 'ABC' in the sales order.

Please request your help in letting me know if there is any setting that 'overrules' the route from the Sales order & allows the 'default' route to be picked up in the delivery.

Hello,

Go to T-Code 0VLK (Zero VLK) - & select your Delivery Type.

Here Under Document Content there is Route determin. There you have options to control whether Toute is to be redetermined in Delivery or not.

Make the required settings & your problem will be solved.

Hi

It is advisable to have a new route determined when the delivery is created.

However, if you dont want the new route to be determined while the delivery is created, proceed as follows:

SPRO>Logistics Execution>Shipping>Basic Shipping Functions>Routes>Route Determination>Define New Route Determination by Delivery Type.

Here you leave the RD column blank for your delivery type.

In the delivery type CHECK WHETEHR ROUTE REDETERMINATION IS ACTIVATED.

Criteria for the Proposal of the Route in the Delivery

The shipping document type determines whether the route is determined again in the delivery. Since you only learn the exact weight of the delivery at the time of creating the delivery, it makes sense to determine the route again.
