Having issues with export of a table

Hi All,

We have a very large table which we want the output as .txt or .csv.How should we use

loadercli.Thanks.

Hi Ambarish,

The loader is part of the MaxDB Installation. The loader can be started in a command shell and 'loadercli'.

Here is an example how the loader command can look like:

EXPORT TABLE HOTEL.CITY DATA OUTSTREAM FILE 'HOTEL.CITY.CSV' CSV

I have tried using loadercli -p and then tried with csv format but couldnt find the .txt format.

..and what is the problem with CSV?

Hi Markus,

My worry is that the table is quite big.It has some 80 million records.I dont know how much space will it occupy on the hard disk and can we find out how much space will it occupy on the disk.Markus you have used loadercli ? Whats your recomendation.Thanks.
