Please help guide me to map stock transfer inspection.

It depends upon scenario of your comapany.

It is possible to have 01 inspection for STO when you create GR @ receiving plant ahainst STO PO.

Its possible to have 08 inspection type when its single step transfer between company.

In my case it is two step transfer.so which inspection type i have to maintain in material master and in which case lot will generated?

please elaborate Two step transfer. what are these Two steps?

if you activate "08" inspection type, you will get inspection lot for Each movement (Provided Quality Inspection is active for that Movement type).

if you are doing 2 step transfer, then it depends upon Movement type you are using.

SPRO>IMG>QM>Quality inspection> Inspection Lot creation>inspection for goods Movement>Deactivate Quality Inspection for a Movement Type

1 table will appear,

Check column "QM not active" for each Movement you are using for 2 step transfer.

Now, you can judge, when you will get insp. Lot.

Dear Siddharth,

1. for stock transfer you need to activate Inspection type 08 in QM material Master.

2. create Inspection plan with Usage "9 material check". maintain MICs in an Inspection plan.

now, against your movement, lot will be generated in QA32.
