Cross company code purchasing in shopping cart

Dear Gurus,

Does a shopping cart allow us to register cost against account assignment object belonging to various company codes in the cross company purchasing?

Here is the scenario:

A purchaser is a member of a purchasing group of company A. In the organization set up, the purchasing group is also made responsible for purchasing organizations of company B and company C.

Now, the purchaser of the purchasing group belonging to company A is creating a shopping cart for a Laptop. In the account assignment tab, he wants to register the cost against a cost center (along with GL account) belonging to the company code B.

Does the system allow the shopping cart creator to do so?

Hello Ranjan,

Yes , shopping cart allow us to register cost against account assignment object belonging to various company codes in the cross company purchasing.

For the same you have the setting Team Purchasing checked for cross organizational in the define transaction types for SC.
