SBWP - Business workplace - work flow logs

Hi,

We are getting work flow logs at /sapmnt/DEV/global dir. (File format - WF_LOG_xxxxxxxx_Client#).Where to set this parameter for log files, I mean the file name, output dir and retention date, if any? etc.

(I just wanted it get removed.. yes.. I could use background job/ cron job).

Is there any better way of handling this issue?

with the transaction

SWU9 – show the files

SWU10 - you can delete the files

SW08 – you can start or stop the trace for the workflow

Even after deactivating the event trace using,swe4, it still generate the log file.

Wondering if WF_LOG_* file is same as trace file?

How to set the parameter for this file.

System is --- SAP 4.6B

Did you identify whats this file about and why is it created, if so let me know. We need to get rid of these file before that i am curious to know about the nature of the WF_log_XXXXXXXXX_client.
