Does anyone have a solution for Sustainability in terms of the certificate and claim information that is required by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative)?
We are looking at creating a custom table and custom text data transfer routines to pull info into the line item on sales documents, but would prefer a way to do this through configuration only.
We looked at text on the Purchase Order text tab on the material master, but this doesn't have a full change log in that it doesn't tell you old value, new value. Also, this is just at the material level and we need somewhere to have this information stored at a general level as well as at the plant/material level.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Diana
Diana,
I'm just curious if you were ever successful in your search for a solution to COC tracking.
We are in the process of implementing SBO and will have to come up with a way to handle what we're doing in our current ERP without starting at scratch.
We are hoping that someone has made some progress with this as we get closer to our go-live date.
Thanks

For general level, you can utilize material master level at any of the available tabs by clicking additional data button on the top. You can find description tab (you can use different language to store the data) or basic data text. You can also explore options by having the data stored in PDF file or word file and attaching it to material master by clicking services for object button create ->create attachment. Or you can use create note sub menu in the same service for object.
For plant specific data, you may think about t.code SO10 text functionality if possible by keeping name field as plant field.
